Traumatic dental injuries can be stressful-not only for the patient but also for the entire dental team. Please join Drs. Brooke Blicher & Rebekah Lucier Pryles as they present an approach and protocol that will not only provide more predictable outcomes, but also help reduce the stress of the entire experience.

We will review an up-to-date, evidence-based approach to the dental trauma patient. Participants will:

  • Recognize traumatic fractures to the dentition and alveolar housing

  • Differentiate between various periodontal ligament injuries

  • Discuss dental avulsions.

Upon completion of the course, participants will be comfortable with triaging dental trauma based on a history, clinical and radiographic exam. Participants will also be able to recommend appropriate management strategies, and discuss expected short and long-term outcomes with their patients.

Following the course, participants will receive access to an online portal containing course content and cited research and literature.
